Italy 2005 is all about an event being talked about that will happen in Italy in September 2005. The trip starts in Rome -- we all meet in the Piazza Novona and then moves on to the Amalfi Coast.

One of the hotels, Hotel Romulus, includes a virtual tour of the Piazza. The famous Piazza is built on the site of Domitian's stadium. At the centre is Bernini's Baroque masterpiece, the Fountain of Four Rivers which was completed in 1651. The statues in the fountain represent the four rivers - Danube, Ganges, Rio de la Plata and Nile - these symbolize the four corners of the earth -- as it was known at the time. The large church to the right in the image is the Sant'Agnese in Agnone with a baroque facade by Borromini.
