We visited in on our 1996 trip thorugh this Region. We were returning from Spain and needed a place to rest up.
The hotel is located just off the main street. It has comfortable, smartly furnished rooms. Free parking in front of the hotel although at times it was a bit of a juggle getting our car in and out - but worth the effort.
The Princes de Catalogne is a smart hotel in an attractive town. Collioure is a typical Mediterranean medieval fortified city. Collioure is very pleasant with palm trees along the beach and in the behind are the ruins of the fort and the watchtowers.

On our 2002 visit to France we had the pleasure to staying in this great find. Located just three km from Uzés this hotel has charm and location going for it. Located about 25 km from Avignon or 1 km from the Pont du Gard it makes a great location as a base to tour the area.
La Bégude Saint Pierre is an old post house of the XVIIth century that has been turned into hotel. The rooms have great decor. The rooms vary by building. Some have air conditioning, others do not. Some have doors at ground level, others are on two floors of the buildings.
The hotel has large grounds, provides bikes at not cost, and a knock-out dead pool. Enjoy the pool with lounge chairs complete with comfortable cushions. Caution on the drinks. We ran up a bar bill that far exceed the cost of the rooms! It is just so easy to order drinks around the pool and cognacs at night!
The restaurant, serving meals in the courtyard serves very good meals.
If we are to be even close to this area again, we would be back at this hotel in a second.
