It is a beautiful store with a good selection of pens that include the major lines such as Cartier, Dunhill, Lamy, Faber-Castell, Parker, Pelikan, Montblanc, Montegrappa, OMAS, Waterman and Visconti - to name some of the major lines. Al orders his pens to meet the buying preferences of his customers and brings in fountain pens with fine, medium and broad nibs. He will order any particular nib style that is available. Whether working with individuals or on corporate orders Al and his staff work to provide the best service possible.
Beautiful leather journals and writing books at Charals. In addition to pens, there is a good selection of Filofax refills and binders, journals and paper products that include Rho di a and Clairefontaine pads and books. There are watches and other accessories available in the store that include briefcases, writing pads and other small leather goods..
When in Vancouver, this is another of the Great Pen Stores. If you can't come to Vancouver, sad, but Charals' website is available to view and select pens and other items. Large, well lit cases along the walls showcase the various lines of pens.

Al Charania has operated this great pen store in
Vancouver and celebrates 25 years of business in August 2011. The store, located in the upscale Sinclair
Centre, at West Hastings and Granville is a pleasure to visit, view pens, desk accessories, leather accessories and even a limited line of luggage. Go into the Sinclair Centre to visit Charals as there is not an external entrance from the street. The doors off Granville or Howe will take you directly to the store. 
The store has large showcases along the walls, and counters with pens, inks, accessories. You will find yourself walking throughout the store exploring the broad selection. 
Al believes in service and over the years in additional visitors to Vancouver who shop at his store there is a long standing return customers that have come to know what Charals' service is all about.
