Budapest
We were in Budapest in 2017 and we knew we would return, and we did in 2019. We written about our 2017 trip in our Travel Journal - Budapest. Again, in 2019 we rented a beautiful apartment and friends from Vancouver joined us. It was a very good week.
Belgium
In 2017 the Telegraph claimed Brussels to be one of the most underrated city breaks. We had an apartment with a great location, just a few blocks from the Grand Place and we enjoyed Brussels. We also took day trips to Bruges, Ghent and Antwerp.
Paris
Our spring holidays pretty much always include some time in Paris.
Milan
It has been many years since we have been to Milan. I have seen so many great photographs of Milan on Instagram, well, it made it to the itinerary this year. We have an apartment in the central historic center for our stay.
Peschiera del Garda
After Milan we travel to Lake Garda and will stay in the town of Peschiera del Garda.
Bologna
Last year in Rome I met Luca Baglione of SCRIBO pen. We are returning to Bologna to see both the beautiful city and the exciting new Scrittura Bologneses - SCRIBO pen company.
Gubbio & Umbria
It has been many years since we have been to Gubbio, a beautiful town in Umbria. We return this year and will be staying at an agriturismo not far from town.

Almost all of our travels in Italy end with some time in Rome.
We have booked "our" apartment and are looking forward to returning.
