La MorraLa Morra, is in the great wine area of the Langhe, in the Piedmont Region. Rolling hills, vineyards, winding roads and a medieval village on every hilltop. Spending time in the Langhe is definitely relaxing.

Langhe Wine RegionLa Morra borders areas that are know for great wine, including: Alba, Barolo, Bra, Castiglione Falletto, Cherasco, Narzole, Roddi, and Verduno. Alba is famous for its white truffles.

Barolo, an Italian wine, has the reputation of being the "Wine of Kings". The wine is produced from the Nebbiolo grape variety grown and produced in this area do drink some while you are here.

La MorraLa Morra is a pleasant hill-top town, with a population of under 3,000 people. This is an excellent base for a number of days to tour the valley. It is and endless drive of hill-top towns and vineyards. Popular, you will not find the crunch of tourists that will be in Tuscany.
