Positano
Positano is known as Italy's vertical down as it just starts at the edge of the water and goes up the mountain side. You can walk down the endless stairs from the highway/road down to the water. Many only walk down but there is a bus available that will take you back up. |

| Go for a great lunch at the La Cambusa, Spiaggia Grande. It is expensive but in a great position overlooking the beach. the Buca Di Bacco, on Via Rampa is another well known place to eat, and yes is expensive. There is the Da Laurito, which is not expensive, and you take the ferry from the beach to get to it. |  |
