La progettazione dei viaggi grandi comincia intorno ad una tabella di pranzo. The planning of great trips usually start around a dinner table. Buon alimento, buon vino, buoni amici e tutto il colloquio. Good food, good wine, good friends and all the talk. This one did. Sitting around a table, talking about great trips to Italy, the talk began. The event took place from September 9, 2005 to September 17th and by all accounts it was one of those trips that will be talked about for some time.

After individuals looked after their own travel arrangements to Rome, Marcus Travel looked after much of the details including group transfers from Rome to Naples by train, a tour of Pompeii, transfers to the hotel in Amalfi, a boat charter and a cooking class with Mamma Agata in Ravello.

Gli inizio di evento a Roma. The event starts in Rome. Veniamo a contatto di al Piazza Novana. We meet at the Piazza Novana, go for dinner, then then the next day travel to Amalfi were we spend a great week on the coast. At the end of that week, the group splits, each going on their own way. Everyone had one of the entrances to the Piazza noted for their entrance. Well a significant rain storm hit Rome on the Friday. At one point it looked like the walk to the Piazza would be off. But just before the meeting time the rain started to top and while standing around the Fontana de Fiumi was not the best option, under the umbrellas of the many cafes to drink Procesco was a "go".

Rain doesn't dampen the group rendezvous at the Piazza Navona in Rome. Colleen and Ernie Berno meet Karen Marcus at the Piazza. Fontana de Fiumi in the Piazza Navona. Glenn trying to decide on what flavour of incredible gelato to order,

The Fontan de Fiumi, dates back to 1651, and is located in the centre. It has obelisk - imitation of an Egyptian and on the rocks supporting it are allegorical figures of the Nile, the Ganges, the Danube and the River Plate. These are Baroque allusions of the four parts of the unknown world.
